Born in 1940, he attended the prestigious Hochschule Für Bildende Künste (Institute of Figurative Arts) in Braunschweig. As a well-established designer, he received the International DuPont Award and the Industrie Forum Design Award in Hannover in 1993. His works are exhibit in many international shows.
